Through the centuries, people have desired to become more liberated
with their views. This can occur and continue to occur when there is
no final authority. Liberalism is the opposite of fundamentalism.
Liberalism rejects the Bible as the final authority. Fundamentalism
embraces the Bible as the final authority.
There is nothing that has ever depressed me more than the Liberalist
movement. It is taught in schools and universities today. It is even
considered to be a virtue. The news stations with the exception of
FOX News present a Liberal view. When I was growing up, liberalism
wasn't popular but today it is. When I am forced to hear promotions
of liberalism, I have the desire to just pack up my belongings and
live in the middle of nowhere to get away from it. It used to be
called sin. Now it is called Liberalism. I hope my information
presented here can offer some consolation to any readers who feel
the same as I. -

Liberalism has its beginnings in Europe in the 18th century. It "may
be used to describe one of several ideologies that claims individual
liberty to dissent from orthodox tenets or established authorities
in political or religious matters (Wikipedia 2003)."
Originally, it was not sinful to be a Liberal but now it is.
Much of the Modern Liberal Movement in America can be traced back to
1920 when the the leader of the Communist party Roger Baldwin
founded the ACLU.
In 1960, the NeoLiberalist movement began and overshadowed
traditional Liberalism by focusing on what they considered to be
social justice using pragmatic methods, especially in terms of
church state separation and gay rights.
The word "liberal" in the true sense of the word means to make free.
Yet, liberalism today has pressed hard to liberate people from
morality, the conscience, traditional values, decency, the Bible,
and God.
Let's talk about Nineveh for a moment. God told Jonah to go tell
Nineveh that He was going to destroy them because they had liberated
themselves from God's patterns of acceptibility. When Jonah finally
made it to Nineveh after finally submitting to God's will and
arriving, Nineveh repented and decided to no longer attempt to
liberate themselves from God and His laws.
The world has many times liberated folks when evil was done.
Terrorism, torture, invasions, and the like have been remedied in
recent years by quote "decent nations." Saying so leaves a bad taste
in my mouth. "Lesser of the other evils" may be more accurate than
"decent nations." Know that I fully back the President in his War on
Terror.
The Modern Liberal Movement is actually Marxism, Communism,
Socialism.
Is this progress? Modern Liberals are more totalitarian than Marx
ever was.
So many mindsets of the Liberal-Left parallel the Communist
Manifesto.
Liberals have been all for pornography, abortion, less laws,
legalizing illegal drugs, legalizing sodomy, music and software
piracy.
This all used to be called Anarchy (abscence of government).
Anarchists are Liberals as well.
The Liberal party in Europe first began just after World War 2. At
that time it had not progressed into the sinful version that it is
today. These days, just as America, Liberals and Democrats have
become one and the same. It has not always been that way.
At first, the Democratic party was doing right by supporting women
and those of other races. Kudos to them for that. But, when they
began looking to popular opinion instead of God's Word then they got
into trouble. Just like Nineveh. Just like Sodom and Gomorrah. Just
like Israel many times. Civilization now looks at popular opinion
for morals and laws when they need to look at the only reliable
standard that humans have to measure truth by, the Bible.
Again, "liberal" does mean 'free.' But, to free oneself from God's
patterns of acceptability is not remotely permissible.
Separation of God and State, eh? Did that work for Marx, Stalin, or
Castro?
When I think of Liberals, I think of hackers, terrorists, anarachy,
the black market, Satanism, the occult, cult religions,
prostitution, drugs, alcohol, abortionists, and the Southern States
in the American Civil War.
